South Beach Smoke launched in July of 2010 and for over a year has been a leading provider of electronic cigarettes. Their business model is low cost, high-quality electronic cigarettes that are convenient to smoke and much more affordable to buying traditional cigarettes.
Like Blu Cigs, the South Beach Smoke brand has been around since the early days of e-cigarettes – well before the hobby exploded onto the scene in practically every regional market the world over. Despite the brand not being as well-known as Blu Cigs back in the day certainly doesn’t mean it’s worth trying for some users. But we’ll get more specific on that front in the actual review that follows.
To say one thing about the South Beach Smoke brand, it’s certainly got a sleek packaging and design/appearance style going for it. It’s just that this is the only real thing that is known for. The brand managed to get away with it and remain fairly popular during the early days of e-cigarette availability, but now with many clear-cut better products available – and at a more affordable price – it just isn’t enough.
► Taste
With so many other e-cigarette brands available on the market, the most successful and popular brands have managed to constantly evolve and offer new and varied options in regards to the overall package. While the different options of flavor packages for South Beach Smoke certainly aren’t bad, they’ve just remained the same old basic menthol, regular cigarette, and sweet options since the brand was formed.
► Battery Life
If ever there was a e-cigarette battery that represented exactly around what the average e-cigarette out of all other brands offered, it’s the South Beach Smoke. In layman’s terms, it’s neither good nor bad, but with many other options within or even cheaper than the cost of South Beach Smoke, it just isn’t the best feature for an e-cigarette brand these days.
► Pricing/Value
While the South Beach Smoke, again, isn’t the most expensive e-cigarette brand on the market, it’s also not the cheapest. This would be somewhat acceptable if the South Beach Smoke brand offered some kind of exceptional feature to override this. Unfortunately, it does not, and as such, we cannot in good confidence recommend the brand to really anyone. Especially not with many other brands – of much better quality and offering much more in almost every category – being available nearly everywhere you look.
Although the appearance and design of South Beach Smoke is definitely above average, there’s not enough other features for us to even think about warranting a recommendation to pretty much everyone. Save for those who started smoking the South Beach Smoke brand when it literally first came out and are just loyal brand users.
